AKC Business Group takes its name from its founder Mr. A.K.Chinnasamy Gounder. A.K.Chinnasamy Gounder was a serial entrepreneur and was pivotal in transforming the lives of people in around the villages of Uthukuli, Tiruppur, Tamilnadu, India. His entrepreneurial ventures not only provided employment for this then backward village but also constantly improved the living conditions of many a people. Our chairman Mr. A.K.C.Thiyagarajan following the footsteps of his father has strived to improve the quality of education in these parts through various educational institutions. The group is constantly innovating to find new ways to improve the lives of people in this part of the country using entrepreneurship as a tool.
The group has embarked on a mission to explore new business opportunities in nascent industries like agribusiness, agri-supply chain and few others. The group aspires to be an internationally known brand and by doing so bring dramatic improvements into the life of its countrymen.
The primary business of the group is PVC pipe manufacturing.
Our journey with Rigid PVC Pipe processing started as early as 1986. This vast experience has enabled us to give customized products to suit specific customer requirements. We have installed capacity of 1200MT per annum and readily available resources to expand based on demand. Our stringent quality control measures have helped us create a considerable market share in western Tamil Nadu region.
We are now looking to cater to newer markets and help our customers make full use of experience in PVC manufacturing.
AKC group has two manufacturing units for its PVC Pipes
Unit – I Sree Krishna Pipes(Estd.1986)
This unit manufacturers pipes Non-ISI marked PREEMIER brand PVC pipes which are on par with quality standards followed at ISI units. The unit concentrates on the commercial ranges which are customized according to requirements in this region.
Unit – II AKC Plastrusion Company
This unit is manufactures PVC Electrical Conduit Pipes of sizes of 20mm, 25mm, 32mm, in three variants as Light (LMS ), Medium(MMS), Heavy(HMS) series as per IS:9537 part-III - 1983 standards. These pipes are available in standard length of 3 mtrs. We have two Non-ISI marked conduit (electrical wiring) pipe brands namely “SIVAA” and “AKSHARA”.
All our Non-ISI marked pipes stand out for their high quality.
